ARC MODULAR   /   YOUR PROJECT PATHWAY

From first conversation
to finished space.

A clear path from your first conversation to a completed modular space. Understand what works for your site before committing to detailed design.

Clear process. Site-specific advice. No assumptions.

ARC MODULAR   /   ARCHITECTURAL VISUALISATION. NOT A COMPLETED BUILD.
BEFORE WE DESIGN

Product fit is not the same as site approval.

A consultation confirms your direction. Planning Feasibility checks the pathway for your property. An initial conversation does not confirm that your project can be approved.

Why your site comes first

Every site has its own rules.

A modular building can be designed efficiently and built with confidence—but whether it can be placed on a particular property depends on the site, local planning controls, access, services and approval requirements.

That is why Arc projects follow a structured pathway. We first understand your goals, then establish the right feasibility and approval direction before progressing into detailed architectural design.

An Arc Project Consultation helps confirm whether our products suit your needs, budget and intended use. Planning Feasibility then determines whether there is a viable pathway for that proposal on your specific property.

01 / THE PATHWAY

Five steps. A clear way forward.

Start with the essentials. Open any stage for the detail.

01Arc Project ConsultationYour goals, product fit, budget and site.Clear project direction

First, let's understand your vision.

We start by understanding your vision, preferred Arc product, budget, intended use and site context. This is where we establish a clear starting point for your project.

What we cover
  • Your intended use and lifestyle requirements
  • Suitable Arc product direction
  • Indicative budget and scope
  • Early site information and access considerations
  • Your preferred service level

Outcome: Clear project direction

02Planning FeasibilityBefore designCheck the site pathway before detailed design.Proceed, revise or pause

Confirm the pathway
before detailed design.

Before you invest in full architectural drawings, we investigate whether the proposed Arc project has a viable planning, siting, access, servicing and approval pathway for your specific property.

What is assessed
  • Zoning and local planning controls
  • Likely approval pathway
  • Setbacks, overlays and site constraints
  • Existing buildings and site use
  • Module delivery, access and crane requirements
  • Services, drainage, electrical and site connection considerations
  • Specialist consultant requirements where needed
GREEN — PROCEED

A workable pathway.

The preferred project has a clear, workable pathway. Move into Arc Studio.

AMBER — REVISE

Refine the approach.

The project is possible, but may need a revised layout, siting, product choice or formal approval strategy.

RED — PAUSE OR RETHINK

Consider another way.

The proposed project is not currently suitable for the site in its present form. We can explore another Arc option or a different approach.

Arc Modular is your modular designer and builder. Where formal town-planning advice or a development application is required, we work alongside appropriately qualified planning professionals. Final approval requirements are confirmed by the relevant authorities and certifiers.

Outcome: Proceed, revise or pause—with clarity

03 / COMMON QUESTIONS

A little more clarity.

Still have something on your mind?

Talk to Arc
Can I go straight into architectural drawings?

We recommend Planning Feasibility first. It helps establish whether your preferred Arc product has a viable pathway on your property before you invest in detailed design and documentation.

Does every Arc project need council approval?

Not every project follows the same approval pathway. Requirements depend on the property, the proposed use, local planning controls, site conditions and applicable regulations. Planning Feasibility clarifies the likely pathway for your specific site.

Does Arc Modular handle planning approvals?

Arc leads the modular design, site-responsive layout and project documentation process. Where formal planning advice or a development application is required, the client may engage a qualified town planner to establish and manage that approval strategy. Arc works with the project team to design to the confirmed pathway.

When do I receive a final project price?

Early conversations can include an indicative budget range. A more accurate and controlled project price is developed once the site pathway, design, inclusions, site interfaces and delivery scope have been properly resolved through Planning Feasibility and Arc Studio.

What happens if my preferred product is not suitable for the site?

We will clearly explain the issue and explore practical alternatives, which may include a revised module size, different siting position, a different product configuration or another approval approach.
